On the morning of October 12, we will carry out an update for our older punch clocks. The update means that the clock will receive a new security certificate, which in some cases may need to be installed manually.
Those affected by this change are users of the older version of the time clock shown in the image below.
We also offer a newer version of the time clock that is continuously developed and kept up to date. We are aware that some customers are unable to upgrade to the new version because their existing hardware does not meet the technical requirements.
What do you need to do?
To install the new certificate, you may need to have administrator privileges on the computer where the time clock is installed. We therefore recommend ensuring that the appropriate person is available ahead of the update.
Important information about future support
Please note that we will soon discontinue support for this older version of the time clock. We therefore recommend that you already begin exploring the possibility of upgrading to hardware that supports Windows 11 or a later and fully supported version of Windows 10. This will ensure continued functionality, security, and the ability to use future updates. If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact our support team.
